Jessica Carabajal

Jessica Carabajal (she/her) is a 14-year company member at The Boom, a familiar face of Theatre Crude since its inception (including the debuts of My Mind is a Smile with Blood-Slicked Teeth and Biggest Little Fiend), and Christopher Shultz’s biggest fan. She studied Theatre and Communication Education at UCO and spent several years behind the scenes with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and the Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre at OU. Thanks to Zach for making her an offer she couldn’t refuse, to Chris for being one of her favorite writers, and to her parents, who never miss an opening night!

Kerynn Eckenrode

Kerynn Eckenrode (she/her) is an actor based in the OKC Metro area. She recently graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Oklahoma. When she isn’t on stage or filming self tapes, she can be found teaching improv to kids at The Actor Factory in Norman. She’d like to thank her friends and family for always feeding into her many delusions!

Keith Ferguson

Keith Ferguson (he/him) is an OKC Metro native. Previous performance credits include Dial M for Murder, Spamalot, A Portion for Foxes, Meet Me in St. Louis, Alchoholidays, and Drop Drag Gorgeous. Keith holds a B.F.A. in Drama with an emphasis in Costume Design from the University of Oklahoma.

Kris Schinske-Wolfe

Kris Schinske-Wolfe (she/her) is a veteran actor with over sixty regional and professional credits across Oklahoma stages, such as Lyric Theatre, OKC Rep, and OK Shakes. Her work spans beloved classics to new works, including straight plays, musicals, radio theatre, and staged readings. Notable roles in ’Night, Mother; August: Osage County; and Les Liaisons Dangereuses are some of her favorites. Kris enjoys the collaboration of theatre and is grateful to serve the vision of her talented colleagues at Whatever Works.

Tiffany Tuggle (she/her) holds her BA in Theatre from SWOSU and has performed all over the metro. Notable roles include: Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Velma Kelly in Chicago (Jewel Box Theatre), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park), Mrs. Cratchit in A Territorial Christmas Carol, Carla in In the Heights (Pollard Theatre), Medusa in Medusa Undone (3rd Act)  and Janet in Rocky Horror Picture Show (The Boom) She is excited to be joining Whatever Works.

Christopher Shultz

SCREENWRITER

Christopher Shultz is a playwright and screenwriter based in Oklahoma City. His works have been performed in numerous Theatre Crude events, including their annual fringe festival, where his plays My Mind is a Smile with Blood-Slicked Teeth and Biggest Little Fiend made their debut. Caitlin Dennis Bailey

DIRECTOR

Caitlin Dennis Bailey (she/her) is a playwright and director from Oklahoma City. Most recently, her play Song of Summer was presented as part of Whatever Works’ reading series. Several of her short plays have been heard as part of Theatre Crude’s Unconventional Shorts program. When not busy with theatre, Caitlin is a PR and marketing consultant who helps organizations tell their story to the public. She earned her B.A. in theatre and English from Middlebury College.

Emily Comisar

DIRECTOR

Emily Comisar (she/her) is a playwright and producer living in Oklahoma City. Her short plays have appeared in series produced by Lone Star Theatre Co., The PlayGround Experiment, aWe Creative Group, New York Madness, and Shiyr Productions. Emily’s full-length work includes The Campaign (Theatre Crude Fringe Festival), Dumpster Fire (She NYC Festival), Undrown’d: Seeking Asylum (co-written with Benita de Wit, Columbia Stages), Switzerland (Lone Star Theatre Co.), Moonlighting (Lone Star Theatre Co.), and Track Twelve (FringeNYC).

Emily has a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies from Northwestern University, with specialties in critical studies, adaptation of narrative for the stage, and multimedia performance.  She also holds a Master of Arts in Italian Language and Media from Middlebury College and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Management & Producing from Columbia University. She is currently the Executive Artistic Director of Oklahoma City Repertory Theater.
